Andi + Michael, Wedding!

Yesterday, Craig and I had an amazing time photographing Andi and Michael’s wedding at the fabulous and historic Viceroy Hotel in Palm Springs.  Andi is a fashion designer (owner of Seneca Rising) and Michael is in advertising and marketing (owner of Standard Time), so we were excited to work for two artistic and creative people!  Their wedding was gorgeous, the location and weather were beautiful and Andi and Michael were a really fun couple to work with.  And everyone had a blast at our new Mod Photo Studio (imagine a photo booth, but… without the booth and with a person taking your photo).  We’re not sure how or why it started, exactly, but almost everyone gave us their rendition of the “Tiger Claw!”, which was hilarious.  For those of you who were at the wedding, you can see all of the photo booth pics by going to our Zenfolio website and clicking on the Andi and Michael Wedding Photo Booth gallery.  The password will be the name of the ring-bearer from the wedding, all lower case.

Tom + Heather, Engaged!

Congratulations to Tom and Heather who won our engagement session door price at the Costa Mesa Brideworld Expo! We had a great time walking around downtown Riverside together and then heading out to some open space for some shots with their funky car. You two have amazing chemistry together – it was a joy to capture!

Erik + Kelly = Engaged!

Beka and I had an incredibly fun time shooting Erik & Kelly out at Long Beach.  We started with some shots around CSU Long Beach (where they met) and then headed out to the beach for some good old-fashioned seagull wrangling.  We also did some photos with “thought bubbles” and “chat bubbles” which we’re sending to Erik for some finessing.  Erik is an illustrator by trade and will be giving us back something interesting that we’ll post up here at a later time, so stay tuned!

Sara + Beka Chit-Chat

We love our new photo booth light! With our new light, a tripod and some construction paper,  Craig, Sara and I crafted up this:

Your photo booth photos probably won’t become a movie, but they could embrace thought bubbles and other paper cut outs! The Mod Photo Booth is available for wedding receptions with 3+ hours of coverage and for parties and events! Contact us for more info.

Sara…

I’ve been dreaming of all of the wonderful art I’m going to create when my friend Sara is in town.  She arrived this past Tuesday and we’ve been crafting it up ever since!
